MBNC celebrated World Health Day & Nurses Day on 14/05/2019. On the occasion of world health and nurses day celebrations, MBNC organized free Health Check up Camp and Health Awareness Campaign at JanSeva Kendra, Bardoli, from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm in association with NSS unit of UTU. The programme started at 9.00 am with the inaugural ceremony. Faculty members, second year M.Sc. Nursing, first year M.Sc. Nursing and Third year B.Sc. Nursing students of MBNC took active participation throughout the entire programme. Approximately 51 patients availed the services and took active interest in learning about Anemia , Heat wave illness prevention and CPR training. The programme was conducted with great support from Honorable Provost of the UTU, Dr. D R Shah, ShriKirit Patel, Vice President UTU , Dr. Rani Shetty, Principal, MBNC and Dr. SushmaMansuri , Naturopathy Physician, Jan Seva Kendra , Bardoli.
Nutrition Practical was organized for first year P.B.B.Sc. (N), B.Sc. (N) and GNM students of MBNC, as a part of their curriculum requirement on 30th April 2019. Total 108 students participated in the event which was guided by MsJagruti Patel and Ms. Sweta Patel, Nursing Tutors of MBNC. Students were divided into 11 groups. They prepared balanced diet for School age, Adolescents, Elderly, Pregnancy & Lactation as well the therapeutic diet for patients with various disease conditions like Anaemia, Cardio Vascular & Hypertensive diseases, Renal diseases, Diabetes Mellitus and patient with NG tube/ Liquid Dietfor which each group displayed variety of meals for early morning, breakfast, mid morning, lunch, snack, dinner, bed time etc.The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Rozy Patel, The Center of Humanities and Development, in the gracious presence of Dr. Rani Shetty, Principal MBNC and other Faculty Members of MBNC. The programme was evaluated by Dr. Rozy Patel, Dr. Rani Shetty, Ms. ParishaChaudhari and faculty of MBNC. The efforts of the students have been appreciated. The judge, principal and all faculty tasted the various nutritious diet prepared by the students.
1st price was secured by group no.8 for Renaldiet &group no.11 forDiabeticdiet.
2nd price was secured by group no. 3 for Balanced diet in Aging &group no.7 for Cardiac & Hypertensive diet.
Alumni meet was organized by Alumni Association of Maniba Bhula Nursing College on 13/04/2019 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Shrimad Hall, SRIMCA. The meet started with a continuing nursing education programme on ?SBAR technique and patient safety? conducted by the guest speaker Dr. MeeraAchrekar, DNS,TATA Memorial Hospital. Alumni members, faculty and final year students actively participated in the CNE programme. At the end of the programme Dr. Meera was felicitated with the memento by Dr. Rani Shetty, Principal, MBNC. After successful completion of CNE, Alumni meet was conducted in which 32 alumni members were participated, chaired by Dr. Rani Shetty, President of Alumni association and discussed regarding future activities taken by alumni association. MBNC celebrated World Health Day on April 11th 2019, with reference to the theme of the year "UNIVERSAL HEALTH COVERAGE: EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE" and the slogan "HEALTH FOR ALL". Public health awareness programme on Basic Life Support was organized by MBNC (Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, Community Health Nursing and Child Health Nursing) at Bardoli old Bus stand. A medical health check up was also conducted by the third year B.Sc. Nursing students. Bus drivers, Bus conductors and public took active interest in learning and performing CPR. Approximately 50 third year B. Sc Nursing students and 11 faculties participated in the programme. Those people who performed CPR were honored with a token of love. Students also distributed pamphlets of CPR in Gujarati to the public present at the bus stand. The programme was conducted with great support from Honorable Provost, Dr D R Shah,UTU; Dr. Rani Shetty, Principal, MBNC and Bus Depot Manager.
World No Tobacco Day Awareness Programme was organized by Psychiatric department of New Civil Hospital,Surat on 13/03/2019.The event was inaugurated by the HOD of Psychiatric Department,Dr Ritambhara Mehta, by burning a model of cigarette. All the Doctors, nurses and other members of the team, facultyand students of different colleges were also present. 53 students of MBNC actively participated in this programme under the guidance ofthe faculties Ms.Shivani Mehta & Ms.Vaibhavi Panchal. Programme started with an awareness rally from7:45 am to 8:45 am inside the Civil Hospital Campus which was followed by a seminar. Poster presentation competition was also organized and two groups of 2nd year GNM students secured 3rd price. The programme was concluded with felicitation of guest members & National Anthem.
Second year B.Sc. Nursing, thirdyear GNM and second year P.B.B.Sc Nursing students of MBNC actively participated in Pulse Polio Immunization programme from 10th to 12th March 2019 in collaboration with Urban Health Center, Bardoli. A training programme for the participants was also conducted on 6th March 2019 at MBNC. Dr. Nirali K Patel, Medical Officer, Urban PHC Bardoli, Dr. Haresh G Makani, AYUSH Medical Officer, Mota PHC and Dr. PankajFanshiya, Medical Officer, Vakaner were the trainers. A total of 109students from MBNC participated in the programme which was coordinated by Ms. SuchismitaBhowmik, Assistant Professor and Ms. ParishaChudhari,Assistant Professor, Community Health Nursing Department, MBNC. Our students along with medical staff of Pulse Polio Programme team covered the entire Bardoli region for the vaccination process.
National Service Scheme unit and Social Service Club of UkaTarsadiaUniversityin association with Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Gujarat State Branchorganized a Thalassemia and Sickle Cell Anemia Screening Camp On 11thMarch 2019 at ManibaBhula Nursing College, for the students & faculty of various departments of the UTU. The event was organized by NSS team coordinatorMr.Manjunath Beth and Associate coordinatorsMs. Meghana D. Goswami and Ms. Sejal D Suchalof MBNC, UTU.This camp was organized in honor of Dr. D. R. Shah, Provost, UTU as part ofhis birth day celebration.
Thalassemia is a form of inherited autosomal recessive blood disorder characterized by abnormal formation of hemoglobin. A pre-marital screening in adults reduces the incidence by detecting carriers of Thalassemia.
A total of 671 students and faculty of UTU underwent the thalassemia screening test. This screening test will help to diagnose the thalassemia disorder &if students arefound positive they will be counseled for the proper treatment of thalassemia. The IRCS & Thalassemia Prevention Programme team members appreciated the NSS Coordinators, MBNC faculty and PG students for the co-ordination of screening camp; also he expressed gratitude towards all departments of UkaTarsadia University for the participation and support.
A School Health Programme was organized by 2nd year P.B.B.Sc Nursing and 1st Year GNM students on 27th February 2019 at BhuasanSchool. The event wasinauguratedby Dr. Rani Shetty, Principal, MBNC, SarpanchMr. Suresbhai, Head Master of BhuasanSchool, Mr. Gibin Thomas, HOD Child Health Nursing, Ms. DiviyaChaudhariandin the presence of all school teachers of Bhuasan School. Programme started as scheduledwith lighting of the lamp, dictating importance the program andwas followed by a role play performed by 2nd Year P.B.B.Sc. (N) students on the theme ?Environmental Hygiene?. The programme wasco-ordinated by Community Health Nursing Department Faculties Ms.SuchismitaBhowmik, Ms. ParishaChaudhari, Ms.Dhanya George and Ms. SejalSuchal. Health Assessment, Mass Health Education and Nutritional Programme were conducted. A total No. of 204 School children studying from class 1 to class 8 were examined by secondyear P.B.B.Sc.Nursing students and the result finding shows that 16 of the children were suffering from moderate malnutrition whereas 3 were having vision impairment, 26 with dental Caries and 19 with common cold and cough. The programme was a great success and it was completed with small gift distribution to the school children.
NSS unit of Uka Tarsadia University organized Winter Camp 2019from 10/2/2019 to 16/2/2019 at Hindla village.NSS volunteers from Maniba Bhula Nursing College activelyparticipated in this camp. Selected NSS student volunteers stayed for 7days in UttarbuniyadiAashramshala.First day of camp started on 10/2/2019 with the inauguration program in the gracious presence of Mrs.Binduben Desai, Principal, Ashramshala. Door to door campaigning was carried out and cultural programs were arranged in eveningfor villagers at Primary School, Hindla. On the second day students organized arally on the theme?BetiBachao, BetiPadhao?in the morning session and in the afternoon conducted a session on self-defensefor students of Aashramshalafollowed by cultural activity at the end. On the third day wall art painting in villager's home and also an information and awareness class on forest life by Mr. Chaudhary from the forest department were conducted. Fourth day of the camp included health checkupfor villagers arranged at Primary &Secondary School and also inUttarbuniyadiAashramshala .On fifth day students planted trees at Shravaniya forest and followed by rally on 'NASHAMUKTHI'. Sixth day comprised of drawing competition for NSS volunteers. On 7th day valedictory program was organized, the chief guest was Mr.DhirubhaiGevariya, Director ofVarachha Co-operative Bank. The programme was concluded with distribution of stationaryitems to the Aashram's students for their curricular activities.
SNA Annual Sports for the academic year 2018-19 was organized by Maniba Bhula Nursing College on 22nd and 23rd February 2019. Manjunath Beth &Mr. Jinto Philip, Sports Coordinators and Ms. Parisha Chaudhari, SNA Advisor coordinated the event. Students were divided in to four houses - Blue, Green, Orange and Yellow. Faculty members were also equally divided in to the same houses for guidance and encouraging the students' participation.
The event started with inauguration ceremony on 22nd February. Dr. Rani Shetty, Principal, MBNC and Mr. Sunil Gamit, Director, SrimadRajchandra School of Sports inaugurated the Annual Sports 2019 by cutting the ribbon followed by march-past of the students and Sports oath taking. Thereafter, the events for the day started and all the students and faculty actively participated in various events. The events on first day were 100 meter race, 200 meter race and 4x100 meter relay, Shot Put, and Cricket. Kabaddi, Tug of war, Kho-Kho, Carom and chess were conducted on the second day. Each event was separately organized for boys and girls. From each event first and second prize winners were decided based on individual criteria formulated. Certificates and ever-rolling trophies will be distributed on the occasion of the Annual Day function of the college.

APanel Discussion alsowas conducted on 'Exploring the current challenges and opportunities for graduate nurses in healthcare' with Dr.Rani Shetty as the moderator and Ms.Anu Baby, Assistant professor, MBNC , Mr. Kartick H Mistry, COO, SIDS Hospital, Surat,Ms. Anita David, Nursing Superintendent, Kiran Hospital, Surat.,Dr. Bhavinkant Chaudhari, MD Medicine, Green Apple Hospital, Bardoli ,Maj. Gen. Mrs. T.K. Bhutia (Retd.), Principal Sandra Shroff Rofel College of Nursing,Vapi as panelists. Dignitaries from various hospitals, faculties and approximately 200 students took active participation in the programme.

A Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) on "Nursing Process" was organized by Maniba Bhula Nursing College on 13th February 2019, 1.30 to 4.30 pm. This CNE was conducted for the faculty members and M.Sc. Nursing students with a view to refreshand developthe knowledge, to give hands on experience in preparation and writing of nursing care plan and nurse's record in a uniform format. Dr. Rani Shetty, Principal, Maniba Bhula Nursing College gave a brief introduction about Nursing Process, following which the participants were divided in to 8 groups. Each group was provided with case scenarios and formats for preparing the nursing care plan and nurse?s record. All group members participated with great enthusiasm and after preparation each case was discussed in detail lead by Dr. Rani Shetty.

Free Medical camp was organized at Janseva Kendra, Bardoli Campus of UTU on 15th January 2019, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm in association with Rotary Club (Bardoli, Kadodara, Gandevi and USA), Jamnaba Hospital, Bardoli, Diwaliben Trust, Bardoli, Rotary Eye Institute, Navsari, Yashveen Hospital, Navsari , NSS unit of UTU and Constituent Institutions of Uka Tarsadia University. The programme started at 10.00 am with the inaugural ceremony. Faculty members, second year M.Sc. Nursing and first year M.Sc. in community health nursing students of MBNC took active participation throughout the entire programme. The programme was graced by the eminent presence of many dignitaries including Shree Kiritbhai Patel, Vice President, UTU and Dr. Rani Shetty, Principal, MBNC. A total of 270 patients availed services under various specialties including Cardiology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics and Obstetrics and Gynecology from physicians including from USA. 76 surgeries has been finalized free of charge.

The lamp lighting ceremony is an auspicious occasion in every nurse's life, held in reverence to Florence Nightingale, the lady with the lamp. The lamp lighting ceremony formally recognizes the students' entry into the nursing profession. Symbolically it has been celebrated with responsibility of promising the body of Nursing Profession. Therefore the first year Nursing Students are made to take the Oath of promise developed for Budding Nurses by Ms. Florence Nightingale which is celebrated as 'Lamp Lighting & Oath taking Ceremony'. Nursing and 9th batch of GNM students of ManibaBhula Nursing College, UkaTarsadia University was held on 29thDecember, 2019 at 10.00 am in Pushpam Tarsadia Hall, Maliba Campus, Bardoli.

He congratulated the fresher students for choosing nursing profession and highlighted and appreciated the achievements of MBNC in the field of nursing education in Gujarat. Under-five Health Assessment, Mass Health Education and Nutritional programme were organized by the Department of Community Health Nursing of MBNC at Goji village on 27/12/2018 from 9.30 am to 1 pm. The programme has been inaugurated by the vice Principal of the Primary school, Mr.Praveen. The programme started with the lamp lighting and prayer. Anganwadi supervisors Mrs.Pallaviben, Mrs. Bhanuben, and Assistant worker Mrs.Pinkiben attended the programme as guests. The programme was co-ordinated by Ms.SuchismitaBhowmik, Ms.ParishaChaudhari, Ms.Dhanya George, Ms. SejalSuchal and Ms.Twinkle Patel. A total number of 23 under-five children were examined by 3rd year GNM students.Lunch boxes were gifted to the children followed by nutritional programme. The programme was completed successfully.
We the faculties and students of MBNC have celebrated World AIDS Day-2018 on 30th November, 2018 by organizing AIDS awareness rally in Pathradia Village and Quiz Competition on the theme 'Know Your Status' of AIDS day. The programme was started with AIDS awareness rally in Pathradia Village at 9 am and completed by 11-30 am.
The quiz competition was organized by M.Sc. Nursing Students of MBNC on the theme of AIDS day at Shrimad Hall UTU, from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm. 350 students of MBNC took part in the competition. The programme was winded up by distributing the prize to winners of the competition.
School Health, Mass Health Education and Nutrition Programe were organized by the Department of Community Health Nursing, MBNC at Pathradiya Govt. School, Pathradiya village on 27/11/2018 from 9 am to 2 pm. The Programme was inaugurated by the Mr. Chanagiri Aurasang, HOD Community Health Nursing and Head master of Pathradiya School. Mr. Gibin Thomas, HOD Child Health Nursing, Mr. Manjunath Beth, HOD, MSN, Mr. Jinto Philip, HOD, MHN, and Ms. AshwiniPatil, HOD, OBG Nursing and teachers of Pathradiya School and Anganwadi workers, the villagers were witnessed the programme as guests. The program was co-ordinated bySuchismitaBhowmik, Asst. Professor and Ms. ParishaChaudhari, Asst. Professor along with Final year B.Sc. and M.Sc. Nursing students of MBNC. A total No. of 53 School and Anganwadi children were examined by Final year B.Sc. nursing students among that 20% (13) children were identified with common cold and 10 % (7) children's found with mild to moderate mal-nutrition problems. The programme was completed with great success and obliged to the school management and students.
A Continuing Nursing Education Programme was conducted by MBNC on Emotional Intelligence-Creating a balance in life on 27th October 2018 at Pushpam Tarsadia hall within the UTU Campus. Nearly 850 participants from various educational institutions and hospitals attended the programme. Mental illness now being on the rise, the need to focus on emotional quotient was felt. The aim of the CNE wasto increase the youth's knowledge and intelligence around emotions which will equip them better to sense and respond in their personal and professional life.The CNE was designed with the coordinated efforts of Mr.Chanagiri Aurasang, Organizing Chairman, Mr. Jinto Philip,Organizing Secretary and Mr. Gibin Thomas, CNE Coordinator. The programme commenced with a short inaugural session. Introduction to the CNE was given by Mr. Jinto Philip, Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatric Nursing. It was followed by introduction to the speaker by Ms.Anu Baby, Asst.Professor, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing. The resource person Mr.VithobaMhalkar,MPhil, M.Sc in Psychiatric Nursing is one of the most eminent motivational speakers from Institute of Nursing Education, Bambolim, Goa and is a true stand out in the field of emotional intelligence. The way he carried out the day was highly appreciated by each of the delegates. The CNE included four sessions: Understanding ABC of emotions and emotional intelligence, Dealing with feelings, Developing optimism and leadership skills, and Emotional quotient and relationships. The speaker emphasized regarding the significance of emotional quotient in maintaining healthy relationship with self and also others. All the sessions included activities which were assisted by Ms.Lida Maria Danny and Ms.Shraddha Patel, Nursing Tutors from Department of Psychiatric Nursing. The group took active participation in CNE and had reported significant change in their level of optimism after the programme.

World Mental Health Day is being celebrated every year on 10 October since 1992. The celebration is mainly done for mental health education, awareness and advocacy against the social stigma. Every year world Federation For Mental Health comes up with new theme relevant to the world wide scenario to remove the stigma and to create awareness. The theme for this year is, "YOUNG PEOPLE AND MENTAL HEALTH IN CHANGING WORLD". Adolescents and the early years of adulthood are the time of life when many changes occur, eg. Changing school, leaving home, starting university or a new job. For many, it is an exciting experience, but for some it becomes stepping stone of succumbing in to mental illness or distress.
The speaker talked about the emotional aspects of cyber bullying and methods of tackling such incident. He also specified about the criminal laws of Indian Penal Code, which protect the victim from being victimised. Gender dysphoria or identity disorder was a stigmatised topic, but by de-criminalising Section 377 of the Penal Code, the Indian Supreme Court have given normality to the people who has gender identity issues. The talk gave insight about the pain the people goes through when the society does not consider them as our own. Memento was presented to Dr.Parag Shah as a symbol of felicitation by Dr.Kavitha Narayan, Principal, Maniba Bhula Nursing College. The session got over by 3. 30 pm with National Anthem.
Maniba Bhula Nursing College, Bardoli organized an orientation programme for the newly admitted aspirants at the institute premises on 15th October 2018. The major objective of the programme was to make the parents and students aware of the academic aspects of the course, the rules and regulations of the institute and ensuring parental cooperation in monitoring the performance and progress of the students throughout the course.
The orientation program began on 15th October 2018 with the welcome of the students, their parents, Principal and faculty members of MBNC. Total 40 B.Sc. (N)and 28 GNM students along with their parents participated in the programme. All the participants were welcomed by Principal Dr. Kavitha Narayanan. She enthused students and talked about importance of ethics and moral values in life. She motivated students and communicated regarding importance of knowledge, attitude and skills in nursing profession.Mrs.MeghanaGoswami, Lecturer, stirred students with growth and development of BPKM, establishment of UTU and basic common facilities which are available at UTU for the students. Next, a brief description of the institute, which included the motto, vision, mission, history and academic regulations & reputation of college, MOU with different hospital for the practice along with recent achievements were presented by Ms.Ridhdhi Patel, lecturer.
Uka Tarsadia University organized NavliNavaratri on 13th October 2018.Navratri is a nine nights Hindu Festival, celebrated in the autumn every year. In Maliba Campus Festival was celebrated in two sessions this year.
Morning session started at 10 am with the inauguration of programme done by Hon.ProvostDr.D.R.Shah, ShriKiritbhai Patel, President of BPKM ShriBhagubhai Patel, and Dr. N.C.Shah followed by group Garba Competition, Aartithali competition and Garba singing Competition.Maniba Bhula Nursing College students have actively participated in each and every programme.
The second session startedat 7 pm with Aartiof 'GoddesAmbeMaa'. The entire evening programme was held at cricket ground where Maniba Bhula Nursing College students and faculty actively participated in Garba night.followed by prize distribution for the best performance,best dress,best couple performance and winner and runner up of morning competition.The Function came to an end with a vibrant performance of D J Ricky which each and every individual enjoyed a lot. Finally programme concluded with thanks giving note.
World Mental Health Day is observed on 10 October every year, with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health. The theme for 2018 is "Young people and mental health in a changing world". The main domain of the theme was to create awareness regarding suicide and self-harm, depression, gender identity disorder and bullying.
The day was by MBNC celebratedin a multifaceted way to create awareness among the students, organized by Department of Mental Health Nursing. The phase I of the awareness programme on 10th October was started with the distribution of green ribbon to all students and staff so as to shed a light on the significance of mental health. The main focuses were our students and to do so, posters were displayed for awareness about the main four subdomains of the theme.
The students of IIIrd B.Sc.(N), IInd GNM, IInd M.Sc. (N) were asked to maintain dress code based on colours indicating the mental disorders prevalent among the young people.
On behalf of 72nd Independence Day, UTU NSS Unit organized a programme on SwachchaBharathAbhiyan to create awareness towards cleanliness among the students and villagers adopted by UTU from 13/08/2018 to 14/08/2018.
On 13th August 2018 MBNC participated in campus cleaning programme. A total 90 students and 6 faculties of MBNC took part in the programme and cleaned the whole campus of UTU and MBNC.
On 14th August 2018, along with MPC and Physiotherapy college of UTU, MBNC participated in the rally and house to house approach programme of NSS UTU. A total 250 students and 3 faculties took part in that and educated the people through visiting house to house regarding ill effects of uncleanliness and advantages of home and environment cleanliness. Students also educated the villagers on waste management.
The whole programme was inaugurated by Hon. Provost. Dr. D. R. Shah and coordinated by Prof. Chanagiri Aurasang, Prof. Gajanand and Prof. SandeshLodha NSS coordinators of UTU.
The Maniba Bhula Nursing College, Bardoli, had released its journal named 'Journal of Advanced Health Informatics', Vol. 1 Issue 3 on 11th Aug. 2018. The Hon. Provost Dr. D. R. Shah, President of BPKM ShriBhagubhai Patel, Patron of the Journal Dr. Kavitha Narayanan, Chief Editor Prof. Chanagiri Aurasang, Associate Editors, Mr. Gibin Thomas and Mr. Jinto Philip were present over the function.
The whole family of MBNC witnessed the function and contributed their valuable efforts in releasing the journal.
Sayonara 2018 - Annual Day Celebration and Farewell function of Ist Batch of M.Sc(N),7th Batch of B.Sc.(N) ,5th Batch of PB.B.Sc (N) and 5th and 6th bath of GNM were held on 11th August, 2018 from 9:30 am to 4 pm at Jatin Desai Hall,UTU. Dr.D.R.Shah, Provost, UTU was Chief Guest and ShriBagubhai Patel President of BPKM were the Guest of Honor and Dr. Kavitha Narayanan Director of MBNC was present during the function. The function was begins with UTU anthem. Dr.Kavitha Narayanan presented Annual report of the academic year 2017-18. Shri.Bagubhai Patel, Guest of Honor of the function and Chief Guest Dr.D.R.Shah addressed the gathering and encouraged students with their motivating words. MBNC acknowledged the achievements of the students in academic and annual sports meet by prize and certificates. Farewell for Ist Batch of M.Sc N, 7th Batch of B.Sc.N, 5th Batch of PBBSC (N) and 5th and 6th bath of GNM students was given in an emotional and exultant manner and they were presented with mementos by MBNC.The function was concluded with vibrant array of cultural programs of the students followed by national anthem.
World Alliance for Breast Feeding Action (WABA) celebrates World Breast Feeding Week every year in 1st week of August with the theme that responds to the current Millennium Development Goals countdown process by asserting the importance of increasing & sustaining the protection, promotion & support of breast feeding for foundation of life. This is 26th year of celebration. The theme for the World Breast Feeding week 2018 was "BREASTFEEDING: FOUNDATION OF LIFE"
World Breast Feeding Week - 2018 was celebrated on 06/08/2018 by Staff & Students of Maniba Bhula Nursing College, UTU, Bardoli. The program was organized by the CHN & Pediatric Nursing Departments, MBNC. Poster competition was organized for students in A.V. aids Hall at 11:00 to 3:30 pm, to bring awareness among the students about importance, content of breast milk & detail about breast feeding. More than 200 B. Sc. GNM & P. P. B. Sc. students and Faculty participated in this event. The theme was unveiled & its significance was explained by Dr. Kavitha Narayanan, Dean/Principal, and H.O.D of OBG department. The program was addressed & appreciated by Principal Madam.
As part of the curriculum, first year M.Sc. Nursing students conducted an AV aids/Instructional media Exhibition on 31/07/2018 at AV aids hall MBNC. 23 students of first year M.Sc. (N) prepared various types of AV aids including video, PPT, puppets, leaflet, pamphlet, OHP, Cartoon, various types of charts etc. All the students of MBNC visited the exhibition and the guidelines for preparation of different kinds of AV aids were explained to them. The efforts of the students were largely appreciated by the Hon. Provost Dr. D R Shah and Dr. Kavitha Narayanan, Director, MBNC and faculties. The programme was coordinated by Mr. Jinto Philip, HOD, Psychiatric Nursing, Mr. Manjunath Beth, HOD, Medical-Surgical Nursing and Ms. AshwiniPatil, Asst. Professor, Dept. of OBG Nursing.
