  • 17th Joint TNAI & SNA Conference held at Gandhinagar, Date: 27th & 28th April 2013 more

    The Gujarat State Level Student Nurses' Association Conference was held in Gandhinagar on 27th & 28th April 2013. The Conference was hosted by C.M Patel College of Nursing, Gandhinagar. The students of MBNC took active participation in the conference.

    Ms. Naik Nidhi. B of III year B.Sc Nursing won the I prize in Poster Presentation on the topic History of Nursing in India. The faculty and students congratulate Ms. Naik Nidhi. B for her achievement.

  • World Health Day - 2013 was celebrated by faculty & students of MBNC, Date: 08th April 2013 more

    World Health Day - 2013 was celebrated by faculty & students of MBNC on Monday, 08-04-2013 at 11 am at Dr Jatin Desai Auditorium. The function was attended by the students & faculty of Maliba Campus, Dr. Mahendra H Chaudhari, Former IMA President(Gujarat State), Consultant anaesthetist was Chief Guest, Dr. Amrut Patel, Medical Superintendent, Satyagrah Hospital, Bardoli, Dr. Krishnamurthy, Director, Institute of Biotechnology were Guests of Honor, Dr. Shailesh Shah, Head PG Dept Pharmacy Presided the function. The gathering was welcomed by Mr. Johna Jose, HOD Child Health Nursing, Theme was unveiled by Mrs. Chandramani B N, Principal, MBNC.

    In view of the celebration the quiz competition was held, 6 groups participated in quiz & Mr. Siddaram Sarate, Vice-Principal was Quiz Master. The students of MBNC, SRIMCA (MBA Dept.) & Biotechnology participated. The first prize was won by SRIMCA students & second prize by Biotechnology students.

    The students of MBNC enacted a role play on Prevention & Control of Hypertension during the celebration. Vote of thanks was delivered by Renal Maharlauji, Asst. Lecturer. We thank all the participants for their involvement.

    After World Health Day Celebration a hypertension screening camp conducted at MBNC by the faculty for the consecutive 3 days from 09-04-2013 to 11-04-2013. The Teaching & Non-Teaching Staff of Maliba Campus got their Blood Pressure checked, they were advised to go any physician for further follow-up & confirmation if required.

  • A Free Medical Check up & Mass Health Education was organized by Community Health Nursing Dept, Maniba Bhula Nursing College in collabration with PHC Sarbhon at Govt. Primary School Bhuvasan on 2nd Janauary 2013. More than 152 School children & people of Bhuvasan & Zharkhand were benifited more

    A Free Medical Health Check-up for Bhuvasan Govt. Primary School Children as well as the Children & Adults of neighboring village was conducted at BhuvasanGovt.Primary School in collaboration with Sarbhon PHC organized by the Dept. of Community Health Nursing,ManibaBhula Nursing College on 02-01-2013. Total 152 School Children and 09 adults were examined. Children and Adults requiring further treatment and follow up were referred to Sarbhon Primary Health Center. The Health Check-up was followed by 02 role-plays namely TB awareness and misconception regarding Health Practices. The role-play was enacted by Third year GNM and Final year B.Sc Nursing students.

Principal, MBNC, Mr.Siddaram Sarate, HOD, CHN Dept, MBNC, Mr. Vineeth V, Ms. Anjana Bhakta & Ms.ZinalSolanki Asst. Lecturers, MBNC attended the programme. We thank Medical Officer & his team, Sarbhon PHC, Headmaster & staff, Govt. Primary School, Bhuvasan as well as Management BPKM for the support.

  • AIDS Awareness Programme more

    AIDS Day Awareness Program was held on 1/12/2010, which is popularly known as International AIDS Day. Rally was conducted at campus and from Bardoli Reference Hospital (CHC) to Bardoli College to bring awareness among the people. More than 400 students and Health workers from various schools and Health centers were participated. Rally started at 4pm reached the Bardoli College at 6 pm. Street play was done by the students on misconception and social stigma about AIDS. Speech competition and poster presentation was held for the students on the theme ?Universal Access and Human Rights? and ?Act Aware? at Srimad auditorium. We are grateful to Dr. Bhavesh Joshi, C. G. Bhakta Institute of biotechnology and Mrs. Aparna Tailor, C. G. Bhakta Institute of Biotechnology for evaluating our students performance and their valuable suggestions.

    Blood Donation Camp

    Camp was held on 4/12/2010 at our institute with the collaboration of Shree Sardar Smarak Hospital, more than 65 units of blood of was collected from students and faculties from SRIMCA, MALIBA pharmacy college and MANIBA BHULA nursing college.

    We extend a heartful thanks to Dr. D. R. Shah, Campus Director, Prof. Omprakash, SRIMCA and Dr. Mahendra P. Patel, Blood Bank Officer for their support and co-operation, we also thank the entire members who donated blood and valuable contribution in saving many lives.

  • State Student Nurses Association Conference more

    16th joint TNAI & SNA conference was held from 20th Feb to 21st Feb 2011 at Ambaji. Theme of the conference: ?Fill the Gap in Patient Care, Get the Human Touch.?

    The overall purpose of the conference was to establish the relationship between clinical Practice and Nursing Education. From our institute 18 B.Sc (N) Students and 2 Faculties participated in the conference. All the students participated in various extra-curricular activities and got many prizes.

  • Mass Health Education and Free Medical Check-up more

    Mass health education and free medical check-up was held at Babla Village on 13/02/2011 and 24/02/2011 respectively by S.Y. B.Sc (Nursing) students. Program was ingurated by Dr. Mitesh Patel, Medical Officer and village leaders.Mass Health Education was on alcoholism & its ill effects on health. Exhibition was organized on effect of poor environmental sanitation on public health, which was decided based on community diagnosis after survey of village.

    Free Medical check-up was held at Govt. Primary School, Babla. More than 70 people were benefited by the camp. All the medicines were provided by the institute and some of the cases were referred to Shree Sardar Smarak Hospital, Bardoli for further treatment and follow up. Students have taken active participation in assessing health status of the people, many diagnostic procedures were carried out by the students such as urine analysis, haemoanalysis, physical examination etc. We are thankful to Dr. Mitesh Patel for his presence and active participation in health camp.

    Another Mass Health Education was held on ill effect of alcoholism and smoking and Exhibition was held on prevention of alcoholism at Govt. Primary School, Vadoli, on 30th April 2011 by F.Y GNM students.

  • Lamp Lighting and Oath taking Ceremony more

    Lamp Lighting and Oath taking Ceremony of the 3rd batch of B.Sc (Nursing) and 1st batch of General Nursing Midwifery was held at SRIMAD Auditorium on 11th December 2010.

    The ceremony was held in reverence to Florence Nightingale or the lady with the lamp. The students received the light from chief guest Ms. Jashuben Patidar, and Chairperson Mr. Bhagubhai Patel and become the new torch bearers. The students also took oath to uphold the values of the profession.

    Later chief guest Ms. Jashuben Patidar, Registrar GNC, Chairperson Mr. Bhagubhai Patel, President BPKM, and Guest of Honor Dr. Dinesh Shah addressed the gathering and encouraged the students to serve the humanity with compassion and empathy.

    The students presented a colorful variety of entertainment program, which included tradition dance, skit, mono acting, fusion dance, songs etc.
