  • A campus interview was organized for the Final year B.Sc Nursing students of Maniba Bhula Nursing College by Care Hospital, Surat, on May 31, 2014 at Maliba Conference Hall, Uka Tarsadia University, Bardoli. more

    The selection panel members consisted of Ms. Jeena Jacob, Nursing Superintendent and Ms. Anitha Victor, Senior Ward Incharge, Care Hospital, Surat.

    The placement process was comprised of written test and final interview. Total thirty two students from final year B.Sc. Nursing Students attended the interview section and 12 were selected at the position of staff nurse in care hospital.

    It is a moment of immense pride and pleasure to announce that 12 students of Maniba Bhula Nursing College were selected by the interview panel.

    We MBNC and UTU family would like to congratulate them towards their first success they achieved to step in the professional sector and wish them all success in their future.

  • Nutrition Programme 2014 more

    Academic Nutrition Programme 2014 was conducted by the First Year B.Sc. Nursing & First Year GNM students of Maniba Bhula Nursing College, Uka Tarsadia University, as a part of their curriculum on 19-05-2014 & 20-05-2014.

    The objective of the programme is to increase nutrition knowledge and cooking skills for preparing balanced and therapeutic diet. The students took active part in preparation of therapeutic diet and the different methods of cooking. The students prepared therapeutic diet such as Liquid Diet, Bland Diet, Soft Diet, Semi-Solid Diet, Diabetic Diet, Anti-hypertensive Diet, Iron rich Diet and Menu planning for various diseases according to calorie requirement of clients. Methods of preparation for therapeutic diet used by students were boiling, steaming, frying and baking.

    The 1st Year B.Sc. students were guided by their subject teacher Ms. Sapna Chaudhary and 1st Year GNM students were guided by their subject teacher Ms. Amita Chaudhary. The programme was evaluated by Mrs. Indrawati Rao, Vice-Principal, MBNC and other staff of MBNC.

    International Nurses Day 2014 with the Theme "NURSES - A FORCE FOR CHANGE: A Vital Resource for Health" was celebrated by Maniba Bhula Nursing College, Uka Tarsadia University, Bardoli, on Monday, 12th May 2014 in Dr. Jatin Desai Auditorium.

    International Nurses Day is celebrated every year on 12th May in the memory of the birthday of Ms. Florence Nightingale, the Pioneer of Modern Nursing. The programme started with prayer by 4th B.Sc. Nursing students. Mr. Sateesh Biradar, Asst. Professor MBNC, welcomed the gathering. Shri Bhagubhai Patel, President, BPKM; Dr. D. R. Shah Provost, UTU; Mrs. Jyotsnaben, Senior Staff Nurse, Sardar Smarak Hospital, Bardoli; Smt. Chandramani B.N., Principal, MBNC; Mrs. Indrawati Rao, Vice-Principal, MBNC; Dr. Prashant Joshi, Director, Dept. of Management and Dr.Anil Mishra, Principal, Shrimad Rajchandra College of Physiotherapy, were present on the occasion. The function was inaugurated by lighting the lamp. Nurses Day Theme-2014 'NURSES - A FORCE FOR CHANGE, A Vital Resource for Health' was unfolded by Ms. Chandramani B. N.

    Ms. Indrawati Rao, Vice-Principal, introduced the symbol of nursing "The White Heart" to the audience. The symbol was unveiled by Dr. D. R Shah, Provost, UTU, and Sri Bhagubhai Patel President, BPKM.

    The Nursing symbol "White Heart" was presented to all the dignitaries and audience.

    The Chief Guest Dr. D. R Shah, addressed the gathering, Sister Jyostnaben and Dr. Prashant Joshi highlighted the importance of nursing professionals and their role in health care delivery system, Shri Bhagubhai Patel, delivered the Presidential address.

    Mr. Pranay, Final year B.Sc. Nursing student delivered a presentation on International Nurses Day Kit and 6 aspects related to Nurses Day 2014 Theme. Vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Natika, Final year B.Sc Nursing student followed by the National Anthem.

  • A campus interview was organized for the students of GNM by BAPS Hospital, Surat, on 21st March, 2014 at Maliba Conference Hall. more

    A total of 21 students were screened in personnel interview by the panel members and 14 students were selected.

    The panel members consisted of Dr. Purushottam, CEO, Dr. Kruanal Patel and A.D. Bhatt, Trustee, BAPS Hospital, Surat.

  • Annual Day Celebration & Sports Competition, 11-03-2014 to 14-03-2014 more

    Student Nurses Association unit of Maniba Bhula Nursing College conducted its Annual Sports and Cultural competitions from 11-03-2014 to 14-03-2014. In this competition there were individual and group events for girls and boys.

    Cultural competition was conducted on 11-03-2014 at J.D.Hall from 10am to 4 pm. The Cultural events were Solo Song, Solo Dance, Group Song, Group Dance, Fashion Show for boys and girls and Comedy King was the additional event for boys and Hair Style was for girls.

    Annual Sports Competition were conducted on 12-03-2014 to 14-03-2014. The Sports events were 100 mts, 200 mts, 4x100 mts, Shot Put, Disc Throw, Javelin Throw, Volleyball, Cricket, Badminton, Kabaddi , KhoKho, Carrom. The students participated in all these evenst with enthusiasm.

    Annual Day Celebration with prize distribution and Farewell I Batch of G.N.M.students was held on 15-03-2014 from at 10am to 1pm followed by cultural programmes at J.D. Auditorium. Dr. Purusottam Koradia, CEO, BAPS Hospital Surat, was the Chief Guest and Dr. Gangaram Kantia, CMO, Sri Sardar Smark Hospital, Bardoli, Dr. D.R.Shah, Provost, UTU, and Shri Kiritbhai Pate, Vice President UTU and Secretary BPKM were the Guests of Honor and Mr. Bhaggubhai Patel was the President of the function. Ms. Chandramani B.N., Principal welcomed the guests. 15 meritorious students were awarded, and 46 prizes were given to winners of Cultural Competition, 156 prizes were given to winners of Sports Competition.

    Farewell for I Batch G.N.M students was given and they were presented with mementos. Chief Guest Dr. Purusottam Koradia, addressed the gathering and encouraged student with his motivating words. Guests of Honor Dr. Gangaram Kantia , Dr. D.R. Shah, Shri Kiritbhai Patel congratulated the winners and motivated the students with their inspirational words. Mr. Bhaggubhai Patel delivered presidential address and Mr. Siddaram Sarate, Vice principal proposed Vote of Thanks. The Celebration was concluded with National Anthem.

  • A Free Medical Checkup & Mass Health Education was organized by Community Health Nursing Dept, Maniba Bhula Nursing College in collaboration with PHC Sarbhon at Govt. Primary School Chandevi on 19th December 2013. More than 52 School children & people of Chandevi were benifited more

    A Free Medical Health Check-up for Chandevi Govt. Primary School Children as well as the Children & old age people of neighboring village was conducted at Chandevi Govt.Primary School in collaboration with Sarbhon PHC organized by the Dept. of Community Health Nursing, Maniba Bhula Nursing College on 19-12-2013. Total 52 School Children and 08 old age people were examined. Children and old age people requiring further treatment and follow up were referred to Sarbhon Primary Health Center. The Health Check-up was followed by a role-play & puppet show on Prevention of Vector Borne Diseases and Malnutrition respectively. Exhibition was arranged for School Children & People of Chandevi on Importance of Personal Hygiene.

  • AIDS Awareness Programme, Date: 30th October 2013 more

    AIDS Day Awareness Program was held on 30/11/2013, which is popularly known as International AIDS Day. Rally was conducted from Bardoli Reference Hospital (CHC) to Rotary Club, Bardoli to bring awareness among the people. More than 450 students, Faculty and Health workers from various schools and Health centers were participated. Rally started at 9:30 am reached the Rotary Club, Bardoli at 11 am. AIDS Awareness Program was addressed by Dr. Ghanshyam Raval, Senate member, VNSGU, Surat, Dr. Amrut Patel, Medical Superintendent, Satyagrah Hospital, Bardoli and Mrs. Chandramani B N, Principal, MBNC. Program was organized by Mr. Siddaram Sarate, HOD, CHN Dept, Mr. Roshan R S, Ms. Meghana Goswami & Sapna Chaudhary Asst. Lecturers, CHN Dept. MBNC.

    A Free Medical Health Check-up for Tarbhon Govt. Primary School Children as well as the Children & old age people of Tarbhon village was conducted at Tarbhon Govt.Primary School in collaboration with Sarbhon PHC organized by the Dept. of Community Health Nursing, Maniba Bhula Nursing College on 22-10-2013. Total 186 School Children and old age people were examined. Children and old age people requiring further treatment and follow up were referred to Sarbhon Primary Health Center. The Health Check-up was followed by a role-play on Prevention of Substance Abuse. Exhibition was arranged for School Children & People of Tarbhon on Importance of Personal Hygiene & Environmental Sanitation.

  • An Expert Talk on "Mental health and older adults" organized by Maniba Bhula Nursing College, Date: 30th November 2013 more

    Dr. Parag Shah, HOD, Psychiatry Dept. Smimmer Medical College is visiting our campus to deliver expert talk on the theme of Mental Health Day - 2013. The theme of World Mental Health Day - 2013 is "Mental health and older adults". Event is arranged in Shrimad Hall on 10-10-2013 at 3 pm. All are invited to attend the event & give wide publicity.
